I love short workouts. As a matter of fact I favor them on most days. Even if I have extra time I still love how short workouts feel- they make me feel energize, recharged, prepared for the day.
Long workouts are good in moderation – they can be calming, nervous system repatterining, they include more stretching, warming up, somatic, etc. They have an important role. Longer classes nowadays have to be of moderate intensity for me.
I steer clear from intense and long- they can leave me tired, or too relaxed to get stuff done around the house later that day. There is a loop that heavy workouts create – overworking out- always hungry – more workouts. I prefer workouts as a way to shake off my body and mind of the static of the day.
MONDAY
This week I have been in a rest mode and these workouts are just enough.
