- Make sure that the light is really strong. The strength of the light should be around 10,000 lux.
- You’ll need to position the light therapy device properly. Make sure that the light is reaching all the necessary parts of your body properly. Place the box lower than your eye level, and sit 2 feet away from the device if the light is of optimal strength. If the light is weaker than 10k lux, then make sure to sit closer.
- For a session of light therapy, make sure to take it for around 20 to 30 minutes. If you still don’t get your desired results, increase the time of the sessions. Sometimes it might start working within 10 minutes as well. The thing is, the stronger the light, the less time you’ll need to sit for a session. If the light is weak, you’ll need to take it for a longer period of time. Also, make sure to take the therapy consistently on a regular basis to get the best out of the therapy.
